Principles in Child and Youth Ministry (PCYM) in Constanta Romania

Location: Constanta, Romania. Central Europe.
Start Date:12th March 2012
Structure: 12 weeks lectures, 8-12 weeks practical outreach
Language: Teaching will be in English and Romanian

The course will help lay some Biblical foundations for working with children and youth with a special focus on children in need.

Topics and skills covered will include:
Reaching children in need
Functional and dysfunctional families
Family in ministry

Ministering to abused children and youth
Orphan and street children’s ministry
Programme and curriculum development
Child development (stages of growth from in utero to age 18)
Creative forms of evangelism
Leading children and youth in prayer and worship
Youth culture and Biblical Christian worldview as it relates to young people

This school will equip workers to reach, disciple and care for children and youth in their nation more effectively. You will be equipped with practical skills, knowledge and ideas for working with children and youth, especially children in need, as well as having opportunities for putting skills and teachings into practice.

You will also be encouraged to develop the vision you have for working with children and youth and reach your full potential.

Who is this course for?
This school is for anyone who has successfully completed a DTS.

How much will it cost?
The cost for people from Western countries is 1600 Euros and for non Western countries it’s 900 Euros. The cost include food, accommodation and lectures. Outreach costs will be extra.
